Are Gang members Violent?


Yes, while about 50% of gang members are violent, 20 % are deemed extremely violent. Remember that to join the gang they had to commit a serious crime such as auto theft, armed robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, car jacking or a drive by shooting. Highly organized gangs will commit a series of armed home invasions of business owners & organized burglaries of businesses. Are you prepared for this ?

The new trend with female gang members is to get a legitimate job in order to case the premises of a particular business. To the trained eye they will be easy to spot, because they will be wearing the gangs "color's or have a new tattoo. (a gang tattoo). They normally will quit the job just before the robbery / burglary takes place. Sometimes they continue to work just to supply false suspect information to the police. Female gang members are just as Violent as their male counter parts.

Most Gang members are under the influence of Narcotics and liquor when they commit a crime.
